Added value in manufacturing as a share of GDP reached 13.6 % in 2017 in Sweden, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 1.70 % more than in the previous year.

Historically, added value in manufacturing as a share of GDP in Sweden reached an all time high of 21.3 % in 1985 and an all time low of 13.4 % in 2016. When compared to Sweden's main peers, added value in manufacturing as a share of GDP in Denmark amounted to 12.5 %, 15.2 % in Finland, 6.30 % in Norway and 12.2 % in Russia in 2017.
