Mortgage loans reached 106 PKR bil in second quarter of 2017 in Pakistan, according to the National Central Bank. This is 35.1 % less than in the previous quarter.

Historically, mortgage loans in Pakistan reached an all time high of 177 PKR bil in fourth quarter of 2013 and an all time low of 74.8 PKR bil in fourth quarter of 2014. When compared to Pakistan's main peers, mortgage loans in Afghanistan amounted to 0.433 AFN bil and 8,465 INR bil in India in second quarter of 2017.
