Non-performing loans as a share of bank loans fell 14.2% yoy to 1.59% in El Salvador in 1Q2025, according to the National Central Bank. This is 7.08% less than in the previous quarter.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank loans in El Salvador reached an all time high of 4.13% in 3Q2010 and an all time low of 1.52% in 3Q2020.
