Number of branches fell 2.86% to 102 branches in Malta in 2017, according to the National Central Bank.

Historically, number of branches in Malta reached an all time high of 114 branches in 2009 and an all time low of 99.0 branches in 2002.

Malta has been ranked 40th within the group of 46 countries we follow in terms of number of branches, 50 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
