Number of branches fell 4.04% to 95.0 branches in Estonia in 2017, according to the National Central Bank.

Historically, number of branches in Estonia reached an all time high of 462 branches in 1995 and an all time low of 95.0 branches in 2017. When compared to Estonia's main peers, number of branches in Finland amounted to 970 branches, 249 branches in Latvia, 480 branches in Lithuania and 33,011 branches in Russia in 2017.

Estonia has been ranked 41st within the group of 46 countries we follow in terms of number of branches, 38 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
