Historically, number of fixed broadband internet connections in Turkmenistan reached an all time high of 0.004 mil in 2016 and an all time low of 0 mil in 2000. When compared to Turkmenistan's main peers, number of fixed broadband internet connections in Afghanistan amounted to 0.009 mil, 7.32 mil in Iran, 2.35 mil in Kazakhstan and 2.75 mil in Uzbekistan in 2016.
