Historically, number of fixed broadband internet connections in Portugal reached an all time high of 3.57 mil in 2017 and an all time low of 0.025 mil in 2000. When compared to Portugal's main peers, number of fixed broadband internet connections in France amounted to 28.4 mil, 1.40 mil in Ireland, 1.38 mil in Morocco and 14.5 mil in Spain in 2017.
