Number of manufactured cigarettes sold per capita of 15+ years old rose 2.23% to 1,663 per year in Japan in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of manufactured cigarettes sold per capita of 15+ years old in Japan reached an all time high of 3,547 per year in 1979 and an all time low of 1,627 per year in 2014.
