Historically, number of motor vehicles in Norway reached an all time high of 3.18 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 2.20 mil in 2003. When compared to Norway's main peers, number of motor vehicles in Denmark amounted to 2.84 mil, 2.71 mil in Finland, 0.262 mil in Iceland and 5.28 mil in Sweden in 2015.
