Number of motor vehicles rose 2.34% to 1.30 mil in Azerbaijan in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of motor vehicles in Azerbaijan reached an all time high of 1.30 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 0.375 mil in 1997. When compared to Azerbaijan's main peers, number of motor vehicles in Azerbaijan amounted to 1.30 mil, 1.04 mil in Georgia, 14.1 mil in Iran and 51.4 mil in Russia in 2015.
