Number of motor vehicles rose 6.27% to 3.90 mil in Iraq in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of motor vehicles in Iraq reached an all time high of 3.90 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 2.18 mil in 2005. When compared to Iraq's main peers, number of motor vehicles in Iran amounted to 14.1 mil, 1.88 mil in Kuwait, 6.60 mil in Saudi Arabia and 6.90 mil in Syria in 2015.
