Historically, number of new small cars sold in Sweden reached an all time high of 67.8 '000 in 2016 and an all time low of 34.9 '000 in 2009. When compared to Sweden's main peers, number of new small cars sold in Denmark amounted to 111 '000, 25.9 '000 in Finland and 32.6 '000 in Norway in 2016.
Sweden has been ranked 12th within the group of 18 countries we follow in terms of number of new small cars sold, 3 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
