Number of passenger cars rose 12.0% to 4.38 mil in Egypt in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of passenger cars in Egypt reached an all time high of 4.38 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 2.10 mil in 2005. When compared to Egypt's main peers, number of passenger cars in Israel amounted to 2.60 mil, 2.17 mil in Libya, 4.40 mil in Saudi Arabia and 0.050 mil in Sudan in 2015.
