Number of passenger cars rose 6.83% to 2.72 mil in Pakistan in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of passenger cars in Pakistan reached an all time high of 2.72 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 1.41 mil in 2005. When compared to Pakistan's main peers, number of passenger cars in Afghanistan amounted to 1.16 mil, 136 mil in China, 22.5 mil in India and 12.7 mil in Iran in 2015.
