Passenger cars per 1,000 people rose 0.093% to 209 vehicles in Syria in 2019, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Syria reached an all time high of 209 vehicles in 2019 and an all time low of 119 vehicles in 2005. When compared to Syria's main peers, passenger cars per 1,000 people in Iraq amounted to 49.1 vehicles, 143 vehicles in Jordan, 125 vehicles in Lebanon and 149 vehicles in Turkey in 2019.
