Pegas Nonwovens is Europe’s second largest producers of nonwoven fabric for hygiene application (diapers, feminine hygiene, and adult incontinence). Based in Znojmo in the Czech Republic, the company produced over 100,000 tonnes of fabric in 2014.
Pegas contracts production volumes on an average 1-2 year basis and is paid a conversion margin plus the cost of it main raw materials - polypropylene and polyethylene plastic. Its growth on European markets is constrained by demand growth for hygiene products, which a relatively mature market overall.
