Polish banking sector accepted retail deposits of PLN 1,004 bil in 2022, up 5.12% when compared to the last year.
PKO BP accounted for 26.2% of all retail deposits taken by banks in Poland at the end of 2022. Historically, the bank’s market share in retail deposits reached an all time high of 29.6% in 2003 and an all time low of 20.9% in 2016.
That's compared to a 15.8% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2022.
