Price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price rose 1.98% to 15.7% in Uzbekistan in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in Uzbekistan reached an all time high of 15.7% in 2016 and an all time low of 10.9% in 2008. When compared to Uzbekistan's main peers, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in Kazakhstan amounted to 12.8%, 12.6% in Kyrgyzstan, 10.9% in Tajikistan and 84.4% in Turkmenistan in 2016.
