Production of motor vehicles fell 19.2% to 1,159 thousand in the Czech Republic in 2020, according to ACEA.
Historically, production of motor vehicles in the Czech Republic reached an all time high of 1,443 thousand in 2018 and an all time low of 180 thousand in 1994. When compared to Czech Republic's main peers, production of motor vehicles in Austria amounted to 105 thousand, 406 thousand in Hungary, 451 thousand in Poland and 985 thousand in Slovakia in 2020.
Czech Republic has been ranked 15th within the group of 49 countries we follow in terms of production of motor vehicles, 2 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
