Historically, production of passenger cars in Serbia reached an all time high of 82.4 '000 in 2015 and an all time low of 3.82 '000 in 1999. When compared to Serbia's main peers, production of passenger cars in Hungary amounted to 472 '000 and 359 '000 in Romania in 2016.
