Historically, production of passenger cars in Hungary reached an all time high of 492 '000 in 2015 and an all time low of 8.00 '000 in 1992. When compared to Hungary's main peers, production of passenger cars in Austria amounted to 75.1 '000, 1,344 '000 in Czech Republic, 555 '000 in Poland and 1,040 '000 in Slovakia in 2016.
