Production of passenger cars reached 314 '000 in 2016 in Morocco, according to ACEA. This is 20.7 % more than in the previous year.

Historically, production of passenger cars in Morocco reached an all time high of 314 '000 in 2016 and an all time low of 54.6 '000 in 2011. When compared to Morocco's main peers, production of passenger cars in Algeria amounted to 42.0 '000 and 2,354 '000 in Spain in 2016.
