Raiffeisen Bank Romania's capital adequacy ratio reached 15.5% at the end of 2017, down from 16.6% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 20.2% in 2014 and an all time low of 14.2% in 2012.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 13.1% at the end of 2017, down from 13.2% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 74.6% at the end of 2017, down from 74.9% when compared to the previous year.
Comparing Raiffeisen Bank Romania with its closest peers, BRD Groupe Societe Generale ended the year 2017 with a capital adequacy ratio at 20.1% and loans to deposits of 67.0% and Banca Transilvania with 21.1% and 61.8% respectively.
