Romanian banking sector accepted customer deposits of RON 303 bil in 2017, up 10.4% when compared to the last year.
Raiffeisen Bank Romania accounted for 9.80% of all customer deposits taken by banks in Romania at the end of 2017. Historically, the bank’s market share in customer deposits reached an all time high of 10.5% in 2005 and an all time low of 5.72% in 2002.
That's compared to a 8.61% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2017.
