Historically, the bank’s net interest margin reached an all time high of 5.01% in 3Q2008 and an all time low of 1.37% in 2Q2021. The average margin in the last six quarters amounted to 2.23%.
Average asset yield was 6.17% in 3Q2023, up from 5.94% when compared to the same period last year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 4.54% in 3Q2023, up from 3.46%.
When compared to bank's main peers, Ceska Sporitelna operated in the third quarter of 2023 with a net interest margin of 1.85% CSOB reached 1.39% and Komercni Banka some 1.75%.
