Retail deposits rose 13.9% yoy to HUF 14,183 mil in Hungary in February 2022, according to the National Central Bank. This is 2.37% more than in the previous month.

Historically, retail deposits in Hungary reached an all time high of HUF 14,183 mil in February 2022 and an all time low of HUF 6,922 mil in July 2014. When compared to Hungary's main peers, retail deposits in Austria amounted to EUR 292 mil, CZK 3,308 mil in Czechia, PLN 1,062 mil in Poland and EUR 46.2 mil in Slovakia in February 2022.
