Sales of cars as a share of worldwide production rose 16.7% to 0.018% in Cyprus in 2016, according to ACEA.

Historically, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Cyprus reached an all time high of 0.045% in 2007 and an all time low of 0.011% in 2013. When compared to Cyprus's main peers, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Egypt amounted to 0.309%, 0.114% in Greece, 0.399% in Israel and 1.09% in Turkey in 2016.

Cyprus has been ranked 91st within the group of 139 countries we follow in terms of sales of cars as a share of worldwide production, 16 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
