Sales of cars as a share of worldwide production rose 3.07% to 0.330% in Chile in 2016, according to ACEA.
Historically, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Chile reached an all time high of 0.452% in 2013 and an all time low of 0.263% in 2009. When compared to Chile's main peers, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Argentina amounted to 0.757%, 0.024% in Bolivia, 0.023% in Paraguay and 0.052% in Uruguay in 2016.
Chile has been ranked 32nd within the group of 139 countries we follow in terms of sales of cars as a share of worldwide production, 13 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
