Sales of passenger cars fell 0.708% yoy to 2.53 thousand in Slovenia in December 2022, according to ACEA. This is 30.3% less than in the previous month.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Slovenia reached an all time high of 8.08 thousand in April 2008 and an all time low of 1.85 thousand in April 2020. When compared to Slovenia's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Austria amounted to 17.6 thousand, 2.69 thousand in Croatia, 8.00 thousand in Hungary and 105 thousand in Italy in December 2022.
