Sales of passenger cars fell 18.0% yoy to 24.2 thousand in Netherlands in March 2021, according to ACEA. This is 10.6% more than in the previous month.
Historically, sales of passenger cars in Netherlands reached an all time high of 91.9 thousand in January 1999 and an all time low of 7.20 thousand in December 2008. When compared to Netherlands's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Belgium amounted to 45.0 thousand, 23.7 thousand in Denmark, 292 thousand in Germany and 284 thousand in United Kingdom in March 2021.
