Sales of passenger cars fell 20.9% yoy to 133 thousand in France in February 2021, according to ACEA. This is 4.95% more than in the previous month.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in France reached an all time high of 293 thousand in July 1999 and an all time low of 21.0 thousand in April 2020. When compared to France's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Belgium amounted to 36.5 thousand, 194 thousand in Germany, 143 thousand in Italy and 58.3 thousand in Spain in February 2021.
