Sales of passenger cars fell 32.3% yoy to 220 thousand in Germany in June 2020, according to ACEA. This is 31.0% more than in the previous month.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Germany reached an all time high of 553 thousand in July 1991 and an all time low of 121 thousand in April 2020. When compared to Germany's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Austria amounted to 26.7 thousand, 49.1 thousand in Belgium, 234 thousand in France and 35.8 thousand in Poland in June 2020.
