Sales of passenger cars fell 35.7% yoy to 101 thousand in Italy in October 2021, according to ACEA. This is 3.96% less than in the previous month.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Italy reached an all time high of 310 thousand in January 1990 and an all time low of 4.28 thousand in April 2020. When compared to Italy's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Austria amounted to 14.8 thousand, 119 thousand in France, 4.22 thousand in Slovenia and 15.1 thousand in Switzerland in October 2021.
