Sales of passenger cars rose 15.7% yoy to 18.0 thousand in Norway in September 2021, according to ACEA. This is 9.53% more than in the previous month.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Norway reached an all time high of 20.6 thousand in December 2020 and an all time low of 2.98 thousand in December 1991. When compared to Norway's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Denmark amounted to 14.2 thousand, 6.53 thousand in Finland, 1.17 thousand in Iceland and 22.6 thousand in Sweden in September 2021.
