Sales of passenger cars rose 20.6% yoy to 24.6 thousand in Belgium in December 2022, according to ACEA. This is 17.4% less than in the previous month.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Belgium reached an all time high of 65.0 thousand in March 2006 and an all time low of 5.30 thousand in April 2020. When compared to Belgium's main peers, sales of passenger cars in France amounted to 158 thousand, 314 thousand in Germany, 3.12 thousand in Luxembourg and 30.9 thousand in Netherlands in December 2022.
