Sales of passenger cars rose 23.1% yoy to 15.3 thousand in Norway in March 2021, according to ACEA. This is 43.4% more than in the previous month.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Norway reached an all time high of 20.6 thousand in December 2020 and an all time low of 2.98 thousand in December 1991. When compared to Norway's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Denmark amounted to 23.7 thousand, 10.4 thousand in Finland, 0.957 thousand in Iceland and 47.5 thousand in Sweden in March 2021.
