Sales of passenger cars rose 23.6% yoy to 12.9 thousand in Norway in October 2020, according to ACEA. This is 16.7% less than in the previous month.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Norway reached an all time high of 18.4 thousand in March 2019 and an all time low of 2.98 thousand in December 1991. When compared to Norway's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Denmark amounted to 15.1 thousand, 7.50 thousand in Finland, 0.740 thousand in Iceland and 28.1 thousand in Sweden in October 2020.
