Sales of passenger cars rose 24.7% to 176 thousand in Norway in 2021, according to ACEA.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Norway reached an all time high of 176 thousand in 2021 and an all time low of 32.3 thousand in 1960. When compared to Norway's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Denmark amounted to 185 thousand, 98.5 thousand in Finland, 12.8 thousand in Iceland and 301 thousand in Sweden in 2021.
