Sales of passenger cars rose 39.4% yoy to 15.6 thousand in Norway in September 2020, according to ACEA. This is 44.0% more than in the previous month.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Norway reached an all time high of 18.4 thousand in March 2019 and an all time low of 2.98 thousand in December 1991. When compared to Norway's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Denmark amounted to 17.2 thousand, 8.42 thousand in Finland, 1.01 thousand in Iceland and 28.7 thousand in Sweden in September 2020.
