Sales of passenger cars rose 46.8% yoy to 22.7 thousand in Denmark in December 2020, according to ACEA. This is 25.2% more than in the previous month.
Historically, sales of passenger cars in Denmark reached an all time high of 29.6 thousand in May 1997 and an all time low of 3.07 thousand in December 1990. When compared to Denmark's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Germany amounted to 311 thousand, 42.8 thousand in Netherlands, 20.6 thousand in Norway and 34.7 thousand in Sweden in December 2020.
