Sales of passenger cars rose 77.3% yoy to 13.2 thousand in Norway in April 2021, according to ACEA. This is 14.1% less than in the previous month.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Norway reached an all time high of 20.6 thousand in December 2020 and an all time low of 2.98 thousand in December 1991. When compared to Norway's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Denmark amounted to 15.5 thousand, 8.84 thousand in Finland, 0.781 thousand in Iceland and 21.9 thousand in Sweden in April 2021.
