Sales of passenger cars fell 53.4% yoy to 10.7 thousand in the Czech Republic in April 2020, according to ACEA. This is 22.0% less than in the previous month.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in the Czech Republic reached an all time high of 27.8 thousand in August 2018 and an all time low of 8.36 thousand in January 2004. When compared to Czech Republic's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Austria amounted to 11.2 thousand, 6.17 thousand in Hungary, 15.2 thousand in Poland and 3.42 thousand in Slovakia in April 2020.
