Sales of passenger cars fell 59.5% yoy to 14.9 thousand in Netherlands in May 2020, according to ACEA. This is 2.86% less than in the previous month.
Historically, sales of passenger cars in Netherlands reached an all time high of 91.9 thousand in January 1999 and an all time low of 7.20 thousand in December 2008. When compared to Netherlands's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Belgium amounted to 34.8 thousand, 11.4 thousand in Denmark, 168 thousand in Germany and 20.2 thousand in United Kingdom in May 2020.
