Sales of passenger cars reached 2.74 thousand in March 2020 in Slovenia, according to ACEA. This is 50.6 % less than in the previous month.

Historically, sales of passenger cars in Slovenia reached an all time high of 8.08 thousand in April 2008 and an all time low of 2.57 thousand in December 2012. When compared to Slovenia's main peers, sales of passenger cars in Austria amounted to 10.7 thousand, 2.72 thousand in Croatia, 11.5 thousand in Hungary and 28.3 thousand in Italy in March 2020.

Slovenia has been ranked 24th within the group of 31 countries we follow in terms of sales of passenger cars, 3 places behind the position seen 10 years ago.
