Sales of electric cars rose 47.8% yoy to 24.9 in Belgium in 1Q2022, according to ACEA. This is 39.1% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, sales of electric cars in Belgium reached an all time high of 24.9 in 1Q2022 and an all time low of 2.13 in 3Q2016. When compared to Belgium's main peers, sales of electric cars in France amounted to 72.8, 152 in Germany, 2.68 in Luxembourg and 22.4 in Netherlands in 1Q2022.
Belgium has been ranked 7th within the group of 30 countries we follow in terms of sales of electric cars.
