Sales of electric cars rose 60.9% yoy to 93.9 thousand in the United Kingdom in 1Q2022, according to ACEA. This is 0.887% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, sales of electric cars in the United Kingdom reached an all time high of 93.9 thousand in 1Q2022 and an all time low of 7.72 thousand in 4Q2016. When compared to United Kingdom's main peers, sales of electric cars in Belgium amounted to 24.9 thousand, 72.8 thousand in France, 152 thousand in Germany and 10.2 thousand in Ireland in 1Q2022.
