Salzburger Sparkasse's capital adequacy ratio reached 13.8% at the end of 2017, down from 14.5% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 14.6% in 2015 and an all time low of 10.3% in 2006.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 11.0% at the end of 2017, up from 10.7% compared to a year earlier.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 114% at the end of 2017, up from 114% when compared to the previous year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 100.0%.
