Historically, share of population using internet in Tajikistan reached an all time high of 20.5% in 2016 and an all time low of 0.049% in 2000. When compared to Tajikistan's main peers, share of population using internet in Afghanistan amounted to 10.6%, 53.2% in China, 34.5% in Kyrgyzstan and 46.8% in Uzbekistan in 2016.
