Share of population using internet reached 46.8 % in 2016 in Uzbekistan, according to World Bank. This is 9.33 % more than in the previous year.

Historically, share of population using internet in Uzbekistan reached an all time high of 46.8 % in 2016 and an all time low of 0.484 % in 2000. When compared to Uzbekistan's main peers, share of population using internet in Kazakhstan amounted to 74.6 %, 34.5 % in Kyrgyzstan, 20.5 % in Tajikistan and 18.0 % in Turkmenistan in 2016.
