Share of population using internet reached 70.3 % in 2017 in Serbia, according to World Bank. This is 4.88 % more than in the previous year.

Historically, share of population using internet in Serbia reached an all time high of 70.3 % in 2017 and an all time low of 23.5 % in 2004. When compared to Serbia's main peers, share of population using internet in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 69.5 %, 67.1 % in Croatia, 76.8 % in Hungary and 63.7 % in Romania in 2017.

Serbia has been ranked 44th within the group of 72 countries we follow in terms of share of population using internet, 10 places above the position seen 10 years ago.

The percentage of individuals using the internet in the developed world had reached 70% by the end of 2011, according to ITU.
